After NHTSA reports 285 fires and one potential death due to a faulty cruise control switch, Ford has decided to recall vehicles with potentially dangerous switches. Ford’s faulty cruise control switch was already the largest recall in automotive history prior to Tuesday announcement of an additional 4.5 million vehicles.
