As the year comes to a close, we want to remind you that Rep. Barbara Mikulski’s (D-Md.) Car Tax Credit that was included in the stimulus package this spring is still in effect, but not for much longer. Mikulski’s provision provides a state sales and excise deduction for all tax payers who purchased a new car valued below $49,500 between February 16 and December 31 this year.
