"Nissan and Chrysler announced a deal in which both automakers will share vehicles. Chrysler will get a Nissan small car to sell in North America while Nissan’s next-generation Titan will be built by Chrysler. While C.E.O. Bob Nardelli did not name any automakers that Chrysler is considering, he said that any future decisions depend on the market demand."

“We will not suffer from the not-invented-here syndrome,” Nardelli said. “If we can have similar arrangements … and it makes financial sense and supports our dealer network relative to what customers are telling them they want, we’re going to go do it.”
